GED PREPARATION CLASSES

GED (General Education Development) preparation classes are FREE* to anyone age 18 and up who is no longer in school and would like to earn their GED.

The first step in obtaining a GED is a pre-test.  The results of the pre-test will determine the amount of preparation needed before taking the actual GED test.  Preparation classes are offered at a variety of times to accommodate individual schedules.  

  Monday - Thursday                 Tuesday & Thursday
       9 a.m. - 12 p.m.                            5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

The GED exam consists of 5 separate tests:
Math
Reading
Writing
Social Studies
Science

These tests may be taken in any order
and spread out over time.

*There is a nominal cost for materials and supplies, and also a fee for taking the actual GED examinations.  Homeschool students under age 18 may recieve tutoring or other instruction for a fee.
