GRANT OPPORTUNITY FOR CHILDCARE PROVIDERS:
Providers can receive grant money to put toward infant and toddler equipment by:
- completing 20 hours of training by a qualified WestEd trainer
- being registered or licensed by the State or in the process of becoming licensed or registered.
- currently providing care to infants and/or toddlers or have plans to expand infant and toddler slots.
- completing an application in which the provider describes how the granted items relate to their Infant/Toddler training.
The maximum amount to be requested:

• $200 for Family Daycare

• $500 for Group Family Daycare

• $1000 for Childcare Center
For each $200, or portion thereof, a separate staff caring for infants or toddlers must have completed the required training of 20 hours. Two Modules with a minimum of 10 hours each must be completed.
Grant requests are limited to developmentally appropriate infant/toddler toys, equipment, and resources or tuition for CDA training. Group Family or Center facilities may also utilize the grant money to reimburse staff for attending WestEd Infant/Toddler Training.
